Instagram Content Trends This Week: September 21–27, 2026
1. “Unfortunately I Do Love…” Trend
This trend is all about admitting the things you unfortunately love, usually in a carousel or simple text-based post. The more specific, slightly embarrassing or very on-brand the answers are, the better. It’s an easy personality post that feels relatable without needing a big story or lesson behind it.
How to use it for your business:
Make it niche-specific! Share the things you “unfortunately do love” as a designer, coach, social media manager, business owner, photographer, etc. Mix industry opinions with a few personal ones to make it feel like you.

2. Bedazzled Static Posts
Bedazzled graphics are having a moment again, with rhinestones, gems and sparkly details turning otherwise simple static posts into something much more fun. We’re seeing them used around typography, objects, screenshots and even intentionally random everyday things.
How to use it for your business:
You don’t need to bedazzle your entire brand. Use the style for one statement post, a product announcement, a funny quote or even a very normal business message that becomes more interesting purely because of the visual.

3. Gold Star Behavior Trend
Gold stars aren’t just for school anymore ⭐ This trend gives people a little gold star for the very specific, everyday things they’re doing right. The posts usually feature several stars with a different “gold star behavior” attached to each one, and the more niche and relatable they are, the more fun the post becomes.
How to use it for your business:
Give your audience their gold stars! Make each one specific to the tiny wins your ideal customer will instantly recognize.

4. How to Trap me Post
This one is basically a very unserious guide to exactly how someone could trap you. The format usually shows a trail of things you could never resist, leading straight into the trap. It’s simple, funny and works especially well when the choices tell you a little bit about the person or brand behind the account.
How to use it for your business:
Create a “how to trap a [your niche]” version and fill it with things your audience would immediately follow.
