How to use Canva’s Magic Grab feature
Here’s how it works:
- Select your image and click on Edit
- Choose Magic Grab in the toolbar on the left
- Click the part of the image you want to extract
- Hit Grab
- Boom! You can now move that element around or copy it into other templates
Want to add that white sticker-style border?
- After you’ve grabbed the object, click on Shadows > Outline
- Choose your color (white is great for cut-out looks) and adjust the outline thickness
Why I prefer this over background remover now
- It’s faster (honestly, so much faster)
- You get exactly the piece you need, no more weird edges
- It’s perfect for carousels, reels, Pinterest pins, anything visual that needs a bit of branding
